Steve Neal helps Cubs to by Hazel Baker For the first time in the story of youth hockey at Hershey, a Chocolate town team has won an Inter- national Tournament in the land of ice-hockey. The Hershey Cubs re- gistered three straight wins over teams from Quebec, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. Goal tender, Steve Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Neal, West Market Street, Marietta, played a key role for the Cubs in their gold medal win. He was out- standing in all three games, posting a 5-0 shut-out against Quebec. The Hershey Pee Wee Cubs received gold medals for their win and brought the silver cup home to Hershey. Steve Neal re- ceived the game puck international title mounted on a trophy for his shut-out. The Cubs, sponsored by the Hershey Bears, were honored on their return home at a banquet. The past week-end, the Hershey Pec Wees were in New York for the District Play-offs . They won the Pee Wee District Champion- ships by winning three straight games. Steve Neal stopped 36 of 38 shots on goal for a final score of 3-2. The team received individ- ual trophies and brought home a large trophy to Hershey. The Pee Wees will be traveling to New Jersey in two weeks for the Regional Play-offs . If they win, they will go on to the National's held in Philadelphia. March 17, 1976 Father Michael meets his new congregation by Hazel Baker The Reverend Father Michael Kobularick has assumed the pastorate of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catho- lic Church, Marietta and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Mount Joy. Born in Williamstown in 1935, Father Michael grad- uated from Williamstown Catholic High School and the Resurection College, Kitchner, Ontario, Canada. He was ordianed from Saint Mary's University, Balti- more, Maryland in 1961. He has ministered at St. Peter’s, Mount Carmel; Saint Mary’s, Lebanon, Saint Roses, York; Good Sheperd, Camp Hill; Saint Margaret Mary's, Harris- burg, Saint Joseph's, York; Saint Joseph's, Berwick; Christ The King, Benton, PA; and Saint Vincent's, Hanover, prior to coming to Marietta and Mount Joy.
