Mummies and pyramids in Maytown School
Mrs. Don White's class at
Maytown Elementary has
been studying ancient
Egypt. Last week the class
shared their knowlege with
the rest of the school by
recreating the land of the
pharaohs in their classroom.

Spring?
March is supposed to come in like a lion. But this year,
February went out like a pussycat, and March came in like
a lamb.
One sign of spring is the wild swans that gathered in
the fields on Mahlon Charles’ farm near Marietta last
week (photo at left).
Photo below shows domestic ducks courting on a pond
near Chickentown.
