Glenn Kaylor was the official starter and Mr. and Mrs. John Kling judged the race. The Pinewood Derby is a father-son project and a highlight of the many scouting activities. Nineteen cars were entered in the race; 6 prizes were awarded. The Grand Champienship Trophy was awarded to Brian Tysen. First runner-up was Donald Zielke; second, Mike Jones; and third, Charles Fackler. Mike McKain's car was judged Most Original and Brian Tysen alse wen a Neatness award. Before the race, Donald Zielke was taken into the Pack by Cubmaster Charles Eshelman. Hopwood, Mengel on lib’ry board by Jean Hamilton The Mount Joy Library Board of Directors Meeting was held Monday, January 26, 1976. Twe new mem- bers, William Hopwood and Morris Mengel, were intro- duced and welcomed by the other board members. The Annual Library Fund Drive will begin shortly. The Leisure Club will be stuffing the envelopes and the envelopes will then be mailed out. Please con- tribute to the support of your local library when you receive your contribution envelope. A library can only be as effective as its patrons. Envelopes with your contributions can be dropped off at the local banks or sent to Mr. William Eby; 13 Walnut Street, Mount Joy, PA.
