held by the Marietta Bor-
ough Council on February
10, 1976 at 7:30 p.m., in the
Council Chamber, 111 East
Market Street, Marietta, PA
to consider amending the
Marietta Borough Zoning
Ordinance of 1971.
The proposed Ordinance
vill generally restrict the
placement of mobile homes
within the Borough to a
newly created R-40 Resi-
dential District. The propos-
ed R-40 Residential District
will include that portion of
the Borough encircled by Rt.
441, Hazel Avenue and
Furnace Road and that
portion of the Borough
which is bounded by Hazel
Avenue on the north, the
Penn Central Railroad line
on the south, Jones Street
on the east and East
Donegal Township on the
west. These areas are
currently zoned R-60 Resi-
dential and IND-Industrial.
The new R-40 Residential
District would permit all
residential type uses, in-
cluding mobile homes.
The proposed amendment
alse includes other changes
required by the creation of a
new zoning district.
