Thomas Rifles will give their first annual ball on Monday the 23d instant. This company, we are glad to learn is about to uniform themselves, hence the ball; the proceeds to go to ward accomplishing this object. Our borough has every reason to feel a pride in The Rifles and', all should be anxious to have them equipped cap-a-pie. This company is composed of the best mate rial our vicinity can produce and we are anxious to see them fostered. Go to the ball if for no other reason, to help to equip The Rifles.
