TUE ELECTION.;-.-The e!ectioo in this
place on Tuesday passed off quietly, six hun.
dred and thirty-Ave votes being polled, which
is considerably abort of a full vote, owing, it
is presumed, to the inclemency of the weath•
er. We understand the_averago-Republican
majority will range between twentpfive and
thirty. But one colored vote was polled,
that of JESSE PATTERSON,- who is in the em•
ploy of Air. A. D. Gordon. Two or three
more were entitled to vote but did not ap•
pear at the polls. As the vote will not be
fully counted out until alter we go to press
the_figures officially will be given next week.
According to report Chatrihersburg gave
255 maj. for the Republicans, Greencastle
26 for the Democrats, Quincy 6T For the
Democrats. Both parties claim the Coupes.
sional District as we go to press, with the
chances, we think, in favor of the Repsibli:
cans.

balloon trip from Paris to Tours is furnished
by two Americana, Maori.. Nay and Rey.

were fired at from the besiegers' camp, but
they escaped beyond the shells and 'btillets.
These gentlemen report that Paris can only
be captured by (amine. The guns of Mont

TOPA IS NOTHING LIB FS BLOOD CLIANSER
For the cure of all disorders of the Stomach, Liver, Bowels, Kidneys 'and Bladder, For Nervoun
Diseases, treadache,Costivenesis ? Indigestion, Bilious, Fever, and all derangements of the internal
viscera. You have in this medicine a PANACEA, for some of the most painfullind dangerous of
all diseases,
AS AiMEALE_REG-lIILAT
It has no equal in the world. Married ladles, who never have, uid children, seldom know the:
louse of their unhappy condition, which is very . often deOending upon a faulty state of this Uterine;
Organs, and which can only be removed by the use of suitable remedies. -
IN OUNCE OF PEETENTION IS TORTE 101111 THAN l RUNE OF CURL
. .
The PANACEA will not only cure old standing and indignant compraints, but is one of the,
best preventives of such disordep ever offered to the world. You can avoidsevere attacks of acute•
diseases, such as Cholera, Small Pox, Typhoid, Bilious, Spotted and Intermittent Fevers, by keep-.
ing your blood purified. The different degrees, of all such diseases depend altogether• upon the
condition of the blood, for if this vital fluid. is deranged yous will take a disease much more readily
than otherwise, and the suffering will be in proportion to the amount of foreign matter in the.
blood. This is so reasonable that we rkeednot here make any illustrations.
. THIS MEDICINE -IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
. .
Vor all manner of ehronie or old standing eomplahltsi.such as. Scrofula, Tetter, Salt Rheum, Rhea—
