demand from the Middle and Southern States for
this medicine,,made it necessary to open another
Laboratory at Waynesboro', Pa., which is conduct
ed by Da. P. FAEIRNIIT'S Baas. & Co. Since then
the "Moon CLEANSER" has been grossly misrepre
sented by other parties, and what makes it still more
painful is the fact that the name of our deceased
relative Ohs late Dr. DI Fahrney). is prostituted for
the purpose of carrying out these diabolical schemes,
when it is welt known to very many that he was
consigned to an untimely grave several years ago ;
h et a time, too, when•his successors were not able to
take his place in the profession, hence his name is
used to say evil things. One year atter his death,
the following notice was circulated against the
"NoTtoa. — We wish to inform the public that the
'Preparation? now being out and extensively ad
vertised in many newspapers, etc., purporting to be
old Dr. Fahruey's BLOOD PILERARRTIO3S, Ike., are
none of his, and are not countenanced by our arm
Wall. We neither advertise or put out any of our

The above is what D. Pahrney is made to say
one year after his death, and in another circular lust
published, and in some newspapers, he is again
made to say (two years after his death) something
about these preparations. This undoubtedly has
reference to FAURNITY'S BLOOD Puturraa, prepared
by Da. J. FARONEY, Philadelphia, and PARRNEY'S
BLOOD CLISANORR OR PANACEA., prepared by LOO. P.
FAHRNEY, Chicago,' 111., and also by hia brothers at
Waynesboro', Pa. •
In order to protect ourselves and the public a
gainst such misrepresentations, it becomes necessa
ry to say that old Dr. Fahrney left his practice to
two of his sons. The oldest, Dr. Jacob Fahtney,
located near Waynesooro', Pa., where he practiced
his profession until within eight days before his
death, which was brought about by much business,
