'Cr/Intelligence from tltah shows that
Brigham Young's opponents inside of the
Mormon Church are not yet silenced, but
that on the contrary, the schism is gaining
strength and its upholders boldness. A
large and enthusiastic meeting of the rebels
from Brigham's Government was held et the
town of Ogden, Utah, on Friday night, and
was addressed by Harrison and Godbo, the
publishers of the Utah Magazine,- and orig
inal inciters of the division. Like wise men,
they are preparing to spread their views
- through the medium of a newspaper to be
established to support then. Some startling
exposures of 'Young's rule are promised, and
as Harrison and Godbo were .formerly high
in the rule's councils, we may have some
revelations of the cloth ways of Mormon
Gavertunent.

igaituancial authorities aver that' the
"crisis" in money matters that was appre
hended by everybody is not going to happen
at all. The reason is that business men
everywhere have been shaping' their . course
in such a manner as to weather the expected
blast as safely as possible, nod the result is
that the stroke itself is likely to be averted.
It would be better to say, perhaps, that it
has been deferred, for if people begin again
to launch out on the , system .
