No. 1 is a eight-horse power, with cast iron thresher frame and wrought iron and wood cylinder, six
teen inches in diameter thirty three inches long. Trunik has ten inch rake crank and novas rakes,
is thirty-live inches wide, arid delivers the straw untho second rake, these carry the straw nut on their
tops, and deliver it the stacker, which will deliver about thirty-live feet beyond the Weiler, on a stack
tineen to eighteen feet high, and can be easily inanag,al to carry the chair with the straw, or deliver it
nit a separate place. Chu flunk and fan sides being closed, to confine the straw and chair, remedies all
ditfi nines in c , eaning grain against wiimy weather. It bags the grain Ii reasonable management, suf.
liciently clean for 'narked, and its capacity, under ordinary circurnst•inces; is from' twenty to tarty bush
els per hour, using eight luirsos and the same number of hands; but to lurce the work under favorable

The No. 2 Machine, fully remesented to the above cut, is particularly adapted to the farmer's use; is
intended to apply to any common lever or railway power; weighs 1,300 pounds; has an iron thresLeri
frame, and cylinder, 12} inches in diameter and 28 inches long; delivers the clean grain in bags, mak
desired, in a halt bushel. It delivers tire straw tineen feet from the reader, or if desired, can deliver the
shaw um: droll together; will thresh and clean, in good grain, ready for market, from 100 to 175 bushels
in wheat, or troin3oo to seo bushels of oats per day, using four or s._ horses, and the some number 01
