This Machine is conveniently arranged for 'hauling and threshing, teing permanently fixed oh two

No. 1 is a eight-horse power, with emit iron thresher frame and wrought iron and wood cylinder, six
teen inches in 'diameter and thirty three inches long. Trunk has ten ilich rake crank and seven rakes,
is thirty-live inches wide, and delivers the straw on the second rake, these carry die straw out on their
tops, and'deliver it on the stacker, which, will deliver about thirly.five feat beyond the feeder, on a stack
fifteen to eighteen feet high, and can bo easily managed to carry the chaff with the straw, oftleliVer it
in a separate place. The trunk and fan sides being closed, to confine the straw and ebalt, rams • s nil
difileultles in cleaning grain against whiny weather. IL bags the grain by reasonable manage eat, suf 7
ficiently clean for market, and.its capacity, under ordinary circumstances, is from twenty to bony bush
els per hour, using eight horses and the same number_othands; but to force the Work under favorable
circumstance, it will thresh from' forty to fifty bushels per hour, and with more ease and agreeableness
to hands than any other niachine now in conunoh use.
The No. 2 Machine, fully represented in the nboye cut, is particularly adapted to the farmer's use; is
intended to apply to any common lever or itilwey power; weighs 4,300 pounds; has an iron thresher
frame, and cylinder, 12i inches in dianieter aiid .28 inches long; delivers the clean grain in bags, or if
desired, in a half bushel. It delivers the straw fifteen feet from the raider, or if desired, can detivrr the
straw and chair together; will thresh and clean, in good' grain, ready for market, froth 180 to 175 bushels
of wheat, or from 300 to 300 bushels of oats per'day, using fear or six horses, and the same number of
hands; but to force the work, under mast favoi t tlile circarnitancesi good grain, 6tc., will thresh and clean
conaiderably . more. The Mtchine will threah and clean all kinds ri'f grain generally threshed with the
common machine, and requires no mare horse power, but in many cases does not run so hard. It will
apply very well to a two-horse railway paver
