    Six Expellent Receipts '
Best ,f.iinger crackers.—Two pound 9ot
flour, one half pounds of butter, one hal
pound of sugar, one pint of good molassep,
one ounce of ginger; mould eery light and
gull out thin.
Spanish" Bunn,.---Three pounds o
sugar, six ounces of butter, three eggs. one
half pint of milk, one pontid of flour, one
teaspoonful of cream tarta 'ia r piantity of
soda; dissolvetlin seper é cups. When
till is commingled stir 6 first the acid, then
the soda. flake in lon ans, and when
baked, cut in blocks two inches square.

Half a tin-eupful 'of, this yeast is sufficient
for four or five loaves of bread.
Baked Trhortleberry Pudding.—rour
cupfuls tff flour. three of sugar, three eggs,
one cupful of sour cream, one cupful of
Nutter, one quart of berries, fresh or
one tea-91)0414u! of soda. Alts the soda
ith the milk, the flour (wed .sifted) with
the sugar ani butter; then add the eggs,
(ttell beaten;) lastly the cream. Have the
berries well floured. as for fruit cake. - and
mix in lightly Bake brown:, II eaten
'hot, when sliced, pour cream ovvr each
slice.
Nun's Birad.---:One pint of milk, a large
tea spoonfulbf laid. two effgs, a cupful of .
yeast, salt. and sufficient flour to make it
almost the consistency of
roll dough.--
Grease the pan in which y . ou intend to
bake it, ('a square one being preferable.)--
Pour in the dough. Let it rise, and then
