SPINNER;I
I N_conriexion with the following certificate
were handed to us the -testimonials of
several highly respectable ladies, who have
used tho Domestic Horizontal Spinning
Wheel, and vrho concur in saying substan
tially, that they can spin with it soren or
eight run, (or about four day's wor) per
diem, with as much ease, as they eau per
form-lin ordinary day's work with-ri com
mon wheel. The inference is irresistable;
that it will hereafter be more proMoble for
the farmer who manufactures his weol, with
this Machine to have in his employ ;at the
same cost fOr labor, one girl, than four girls
with the common stand-and-spin wheels :
[People's Advocate.
The undersigned, citizens of Montrose,
have witnessed with much satisfaction the
operation of a novel machine denominated
the a wDoinestie Horizontal Spinning;Wheel,"
lately invented .by Hiram F. Wheeler of
Springville, in this • county. It appears to
us to be a valuable improvement, ire view of
the ease with which it is used and the ra
pidity with which it executes, We, doubt
not that our Fari era generally, With all
who " toil and spin "will approve it too.

The republication nf iliii valuable - work linalbeen

chiefly in conaideratichanf, its intrinsic value, arising
from the felicitous adaption or. the_ plan to a t want
that has been long MO _ generally felt and from the
judgment and fidelityimanifested in its eice ;talon.—
The idea of giving- pi a siuglef ,work, of Inn very
formidable dimensions, midst, a price which brings
it within the roach ofsvery moderate circamstances,
a sufficient outline Oftlia world'B whole history, and
*Similar outlines,of the history of every nation, is so
obviously judicious:aid-appropriate as to r 4 sire no

enable him to understand the-perpetually- eciirring
