Mrs. June Depue, formerly of this
town hut recently a resident of New
ton, died on Friday Inst nt that place
of paralysis. Mrs. Depue is surviv
ed by two children, William Dusen-
berry of Dingnians, I'n., and Miss
Mary K. Depue of New ton.
The young people of Hninrsville
are preparing to hold on exhibition
in the church nt that place on the
evening of March 27; if stormy, the
follow ing Wednesday evening, April

the south on Monday of this week
Mr. Weslbrook's health is very much
impaired but his many friends here

stored to his former self.

Kdwin 15. Kintner, having bought
out the butcher route of Joseph Jag-
ger, w 111 move on the lower farm of
the late John H. Van "Auken and
resume butchering. Mr. Kintner
was well liked in this local I ty and
will be warmly welcomed buck.
Mr. Jagger, the retiring butcher,
also made many friends here during
his two years of business along the
valley.
Rev. Mr. Atwood preach his fare
well sermon at Long Meadow on
Monday night. The reverend gentle
man has been on this circuit two
years and the people would like to
see him here niioiher year.
Mercer Jagger will leave Porter
township this spring nnd return to
Chatham, N. J., where he has se
cured good employment.
Thomas M. Iirink, the popular
clerk nt Van Ktten's store, Ding-
mans, will move his family to this
village soon and become n resident
of this township.
Charles D. Hoffman of Dinginan
township, who was so hadly injured
by u falling tree several months ago,
is slowly recovering but does not yet
go out.
The mother of Win. Dusenherry,
the gentlemanly postmaster' at Ding
mans, died at her home in Sussex
county last Saturday . i he sympa
thies of Mr. Dusenbtirry's many
friends are extended to him in f hi
sad bereavement.
It is said that (Snbriel It. Crone,
the miller at Millville, N. J., hns
parchased the Kate Angle farm lo

property is nicely situated and is a
desirable one.
Dr. Fulmer has returned to Ding
mans and is taking measures to place
his home in readiness for the coming
summer boarding season .
It is reported that Fred Fylenher
ger, Esq., the lumber dealer, has
purchased an extensive tract of tim
ber toward Scranton, and as soon us

Smith and Turn tract near-Long

years, died nt the home of his

ago. Ho is survived by two daugh
