Along our main roads most of the brush have been cut, but on many of our side roads the brush are very much in evidence yet. Truman Angel!, a former resident of Sandyston, died at Tappantown in Montague on Thursday last aged about 08 years. He was a son of John B. Angell, deceased, who taught school for many years In this town in the fifties. Deceased was drafted In the last draft of soldiers in 1874, and upon his arrival In camp at Harrisburg was taken sick and be fore his recovery the war had come to a close and he was sent to his home. Good music accompanied with good sing ing is highly appreciated anywhere, and if we had more of it, there would be larger congregations. Arrangements are being perfected for the festival at the Centreville M E. church on Oct. 2d. Almost every one in this community has been placed on the different committees, and if all perform their du ties as they should the festival must be a success.
