How did our recent Mammo-thon make a difference in our community?
More than 700 women scheduled the mammograms they needed.
In a big show of support for women in the fight against breast cancer,
volunteers from all Commonwealth Health hospitals recently took part
in a Mammo-thon. They made calls to thousands of women throughout
Northeastern Pennsylvania about the importance of early detection.
Because of their efforts, more than 700 women scheduled needed
mammograms. If you're 40 or older and haven't had your annual
mammogram, pick up the phone today.
