Dallas Middle School re-
cently held its third quarter
Awards Assembly where stu-
dents were recognized for
earning honor roll status and
for participation in spring
sports.

ment Awards. The Mountain-
Reader Program were recog-

sylvania will offer a day at
Knoebel's Amusement Park on
Saturday, May 12 for 2012 Penn
State Day.

“Dance Portraits,” at 8 p.m. on

Orientation program planned at DM
Dallas Middle School will hold
its annual orientation program
for parents of current fifth-grade
students at 7 p.m. on Monday,
May 14 in the middle school audi-
torium.
Principal Thomas Duffy will
overview the sixth-grade curricu-
lum and overall middle school
culture. Middle school guidance
counselors Raelene Daring and
Michael Shevock will discuss the
role of the guidance department
at the middle school.
A question and answer session
will also be included. The hour-
long auditorium program will be
followed with small group tours
of the building.
All parents of current fifth-
grade students who will attend
the middle school next school
year are encouraged to attend.
This program is for parents as
the student program will be con-
ducted separately on May 14 dur-
ing the school day. An orientation
program for all other transfer stu-
dents will be held in August.
