PAGE 10 THE DALLAS POST Sunday, February 27, 2011 Lions club is planning ‘Strikes for Sight’ event Lake Silkworth Area Lions Club will hold a “Strikes for Sight” Fundraiser from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27 at Chacko’s Family Bowling Center, Wilkes-Barre. Registration fee is $30 per bowler which includes two hours of bowling, pizza, a pitcher of soda and shoe rent- al. Bowlers will participate in three age groups - 11 and un- der, 12-20 and 21 and older. Prizes include cash for 21 and older, prizes and gift certifi- cates for others. The first-place prize will be $50 or equivalent, second- place is $30 or equivalent and third-place will be $15 or equivalent. Prize amounts depend on the number of bowlers. Bowlers will bowl in groups of five. Tee shirts will be available the day of the event for the cost of $10.
