PAGE 12 THE DALLAS POST Sunday, May 23, 2010 RR : DHS girls advance in D2 soccer play Ellen Arnaud scored four goals as Dallas defeated Nanticoke, 9-0, in a Wyoming Val- ley Conference Division A girls soccer game. The win helped the Mountaineers clinch the divisional title and set the field for the District 2 Class 2A playoffs. Dallas (12-1) won the division with the win as Coughlin (9-2-1) tied Berwick (8-3-2). Hilary Crosley added two goals for Dallas. Arnaud went on to score five goals, including the 100th of her career, as top-seeded Dallas (14-1) advanced to the D2-2A semifinals with a 10-1 victory over Wyoming Area on Wednesday. Freshman forward Ashley Dunbar scored once and added six assists. Dallas now faces Lake-Lehman at 7 p.m. Monday at Lake-Lehman with the winner gaining a spot in the PIAA Class 2A playoffs.
