GIRLS SOCCER TEAM WINS FIRST PLACE The U-13 girls soccer team for Cantolao USA took first place at the Pennsylvania Dutch Red Rose Classic in Lancaster last weekend. Cantolao competed in four games over two days and tri- umphed over the Patriots, 6-0; Freedom Hurricanes, 8-2; Teal Wave, 2-1; and Lititz Warriors, 4-0. Cantolao USA is a travel soccer club comprised of players from Luzerne County. Catolao’s head coach and trainer is Hubert Herrera. The team is also coached by Gary Sulkowski and Eric Wolf- gang. Center, 340 Carverton Rd., is accepting reg- istrations for it Summer Basket- ball Camps for Girls and Boys. Camp dates are: PreK through first grade - June 14 to 18 and July 19 to 23; second and third grade - June 21 to 25 and July 26 to 30; fourth through sixth grades - July 12 to 16 and August 2 to 6. All camps are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon Each camper receives a t- shirt, shoe bag and basketball. Early registration cost is $75 per week or $140 for both weeks.
