‘ARTSY TEA’ PLANNED
AT PRINCE OF PEACE

The Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, 420 Main St., Dallas,
will host an “Artsy Tea” from1to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, in
the church hall. An exhibition of original art by local artists will
be available for viewing and purchase. Tea, coffee, sandwiches
and cakes are offered for refreshment. Tickets at $7.50 each are
available from members of the committee or members of the
congregation as well as at the door. All proceeds from the tea
and sale of art are for the benefit of Prince of Peace Church.

The Jackson Township Board of Supervisors received a grant
for improvements to Steele Road, a mutually shared roadway in
Jackson Township and Larksville Borough, from the Pennsylva-
nia Dirt and Gravel Roads Program administered by the Luzerne
Conservation District and funded by the Pennsylvania Depart-
