GOH society holds annual birthday tea The Altar and Rosary Society of Gate of Heaven Church in Dallas held Spring, May Pole Celebration, Flag Day, July At The Beach, New England its annual Birthday Tea, the group’s major fundraiser, recently with over 200 women attending. Twelve tables were beautifully dec- orated for each month of the year and a birthday table was decorated as a prize table. A beautiful handmade quilt made by Bette Gillespie, Carol Sitar and Maribeth O’Konski was top prize. This year’s table themes were New Year's Eve, Valentine’s Day, When Irish Eyes are Smiling, Hop Into Clambake, Fall Harvest, The Blessed Mother, November Blessings and A Victorian Christmas. Rev. Kevin Mulhern gave a blessing to start the festivities. President Re- nee Benedetti gave a welcome and introduced Sound-N-Good, a barber- shop quartet.
