St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Route 118, Dallas will sponsor a drive from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7. The double red ‘unit will be at this drive. A community drive will be held from 11 am. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, on the Lehman campus of Penn State University. The last drive will be held from 7:45am. t01:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Gate of Heaven Church, 10 ‘Machell Ave., Dallas. The double red unit will be at this drive. Blood supplies remain low and help is desperately needed. Each donation of blood helps three indi- viduals in their time of need. The Red Cross requests that all donors bring identification and their Red Cross blood card. First- time donors will receive a card after their first donation. ‘Anyone 17 years of age, weighing a minimum of 110 pounds and in good health is eligible to donate. Youths 16 years of age and a accom- panied by a parent may alsodonate. A pre-sscheduled appointment can be made to reduce the time needed for donating. He serves on the Back Mountain Historical Association Steering Harrison Wick at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, in the Kennedy Room of the Banks Student Life Center at Miser- icordia University. The presentation will include many never-before-seen photographs of the Back Mountain. The Back Mountain Historical Association meetings are free and open tothe public. Presentations in April and October offer a photo- graphic history of the Back Moun- tain.
