The stu- dents presented oral reports and posters of their research to panels of judges and other students. Senior Dominick Trombetta, of Shavertown, received an Excellence Award, First Award and Perfect Score in biochem- istry at the Pennsylvania Ju- nior Academy of Science (PJAS), Northeast Regional Meeting, at King’s College. He also received a scholarship to the University of Scranton Senior Ilya Volodarsky, of Shavertown, received an Excel- lence Award and a First Award. Senior Mona Lotfiopour, of Trucksville, received a First Award. Spring concert slated for Seminary The Wyoming Seminary Music Department will present its annual spring concert fea- turing the music of American composers at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 11, in the Great Hall of Wyoming Seminary, 228 Wyoming Ave., just north of Kingston Corners. The Chorale and Madrigal Singers will perform music by Thompson, Larsen, Hays and Zaninelli and the Orchestra will feature pieces by Copland and Bern- stein. Seminary Players present comedy The Wyoming Seminary Players will present one of William Shakespeare’s earliest comedies, “The Comedy of Errors,” at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26, in the Buckingham Performing Arts Center, North Sprague Avenue, Kingston. Two sets of identical twins bring about confusion, frustration and laughter as they carry out their business in the Turkish city of Ephesus.
