Doug Harding picked up the save and had two hits. Mike Prater had three hits, Josh Backes and Ryan Phillips added two each. Chris Iorio pitched all seven innings for Plains and had three hits, includ- ing a double. Rob Charnicho went 3- for-3 with two RBI, and Mike Smith had two hits for Plains. D-16 SENIOR BASEBALL Back Mountain wins championship July 19 — Greg Harris and Matt Shumbris were each 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored as Back Mountain defeated Wyoming/West Wyoming 13-6 to win the District 16 Senior League Baseball championship. Back Mountain opened the Section 4 playoffs at 1 p.m. Saturday against host District 29. Results of that game were not available in time for this is- sue.
