=| Fe Tournament of Bands at Lake-Lehman

+ Tournament of Bands, an annual marching band competition, will be held at the
Lake-Lehman High School on Saturday, September 27 at 6 p.m. Area marching
bands, homemade baked goods, potato pancakes, pierogies and other homemade
foods will be featured.
Fall Craft Show for Dallas soccer
The Dallas High School Soccer Club is sponsoring the annual “Fall Craft Show” on
Sunday, September 28 at the Dallas Senior High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More
than 100 vendors from Pennsylvania and New Jersey will be represented, selling vari-
ous crafts including semi-precious gemstone jewelry, needlework, candles, ceramics,
potpourri, quilts, stenciled lamp shades, woodcrafts, wreaths, hand-made dolls and
home made candy. Soccer Club members will be selling lunch and baked goods
throughout the day. There is no admission charge.
Lake-Lehman to present play at Misericordia
The play Making Nice by Alan Haehnel will be presented at College Misericordia,
on October 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available in advance or at the door.
Pre-Kindergarten
Wyoming Seminary Lower School invites all par-
ents of children who are under age three to attend a
free open house for Sem’s Pre-Kindergarten (age 3)
program, to be held on Tuesday, October 7 from 3:30
to 6 p.m. in the Little White House on the school’s
Forty Fort campus, 1560 Wyoming Avenue.
The afternoon event will include information about
the program’s curriculum, schedule and activities, as
well as a tour of the school and the Pre-Kindergarten
(age 3) classroom. Parents also will have an opportu-
nity to meet Lois Feibus, Pre-Kindergarten (age 3)
teacher. Interested parents may apply for admission
during the Open House.
Sem’s Pre-Kindergarten (age 3) program provides
an engaging and stimulating educational experience
in a nurturing environment where teachers and staff
work to develop a child's love of learning and develop
a strong foundation for future academic growth.
