Paul Degillio of Foreman Burkavage reported to the school board Monday that items remaining for completion on the project have been re- duced to 20 from 88 two weeks ago. “Is the punchlist longer than it should be?” inquired board member John Litz. “They're slowly nipping away at them,” responded Degillio, Baby sitters class grad adding that the items remain- ing were predominantly “odds and ends” of electrical and casework issues. Threshold is a decision-making program'for inmates at the correctional facility in Dallas who are about to be released. The course is taught by volunteers on a one-to-one basis over a period of nine weeks. The only requirement for volunteering is to be a caring person who wants to reach out to those about to make a new beginning. Training session will be August 23 and 24.
