The ceremony was performed by Rev. William Summerhill, Chaplain at Wyoming Seminary Upper School. : Bonnie Lynn is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Saul Mendelssohn of Dallas. The groom is the son of Mrs. Loreen Panzaru of Shelby Twp., Michigan and Mr. David Kenewell, Rochester Hills, Michigan. The bride, escorted by her father, chose her sister Carly Michele as her Maid of Honor. Her bridesmaid was her sister, Emily Anne. Kara Maria Moscatelli, cousin of the bride and Emma Lucken, niece of the groom, were flower girls. The groom chose his father, David Kenewell, as his best man. Michael Bolcek, friend of the groom and David Guenther, his nephew were groomsmen. Steven Guenther, also a nephew of the groom, was ring bearer. The reception followed the ceremony at the Westmoreland Club. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by Loreen and Daniel Pan- zaru, mother and stepfather of the groom and Sybil and David Kenewell, father and step mother of the groom, at the Huntsville Golf Club, Dallas. Mrs. Kenewell is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary Upper School and earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology at Amer- ican University, Washington, D.C. She is currently completing her Masters Degree in Special Education at Kansas State -Uni- versity in Manhattan, Kansas. Lt. Kenewell is a graduate of Howe Military School, Howe, In- diana and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point where he earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering. He is currently a Field Artillery Officer stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas and is preparing to join the forces in defense of our country in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cancer Awareness Day at Mercy Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, will host its Sixth Annual Cancer Awareness Day on Tuesday, April 29 from 12 noon to 4 p.m., in the hospital's main lobby area. A variety of cancer agency representatives, information booths and brochures will be available. The event is designed to help individuals and families learn how to reduce their risk of cancer through pre- vention and early detection. Entertainment will be provided by Susan Klein and A Family of friends, Ventriloquist. The event includes free parking and refreshments. Door prizes will be awarded.
