Tickets will be sold at the door and are $3 for adults, $2 for students. In the story, Mr. Manningham, a handsome businessman who ap- pears to treat his younger wife with great kindness, is slowly driving his wife insane by accusing her of forget- ‘ting or misplacing household items. Because Mrs. Manningham lost her mother to insanity, she is easily con- vinced she is losing her mind. During one of Mr. Manningham’s absences, a police inspector comes to visit Mrs. Manningham and eventually con- vinces her that her husband is killer, interested only in removing so he can search their home for some valuable jewels. The methods the po- lice inspector uses to trap Mr. Man- ningham provide the play's riveting suspense. The play, written by Hamilton in London in 1939, was originally titled “Gaslight,” “Angel Street” when it was presented on Broadway in 1941. The movie thriller Boyer and Ingrid Bergman. but was later renamed “Gaslight” featured Charles “This play is exciting and appealing to audiences because, with the right pacing, don't know what will happen,” W. Carver Collins, director. “The au- dience sees this woman, Mrs. Man- ningham, trapped on stage, unable to move on her own, and the audience has the feeling of being trapped as well.” it is full of suspense.
