The Unitarian Universalist
Congregation of Wyoming Valley
(UUCWV) will sponsor an
evening of inspiring words and
music at 7 p.m., Friday, April
26, at the Tudor Bookstore and
Cafe, 651 Wyoming Ave.
Kingston.
The public is invited to attend
this free community event,
which will include a presenta-
tion of excerpts from the book,
“Awakening the Soul,” by its edi-
tor, John C. Morgan. He is one
of the founders of the UUCWV
and is presently the pastor of
the First Unitarian Universalist
Church of Berks County. Rev.
Morgan will be available for
booksigning.
Louis and Anna Gilio, the duet
“Blessed By Love,” will present
music from their latest release,
SOAR. Mr. & Mrs. Gilio are
members of the UUCWV.

Senior Citizens Centers offer hot
noon meals Monday - Friday to
people 60 years of age or older.
The following is the men for the
week of April 25-May 1. All'menus
include margarine, milk and cof-
fee. The local Senior Center is lo-
cated at 22 Rice St., Dallas.
THURSDAY: Dutch fried
chicken, parsley boiled potatoes,
glazed carrots, rye bread, cran-
berry juice, applesauce.
FRIDAY: Seafood salad, let-
tuce, tomato and mayonnaise,
cole slaw, kaiser roll, beef noodle
soup, peanut butter cookie.
MONDAY: Picnic Burger, oven
roasted potatoes, roman veg-
etable medley, sandwich roll,
fruited gelatin.
TUESDAY: Pierogi with onions
and butter, pickled egg, hot
spiced apples, mixed vegetables,
whole wheat bread, orange juice,
fruited cookie.
WEDNESDAY: Sweet and sour
pork over rice, apple/cranberry
compote, oriental vegetables, din-
ner roll, apricot nectar, vanilla ice
cream.
