Tanglefoot returns to College Misericordia
efforts of the Sisters of Mercy, College Mis-
ericordia’s founders, to educate the daugh-
ters of hard working area families.
The concert will be a fund raiser for Col
lege Misericordia’'s Women with ChildrerA®
program, which allows single mothers to at-
tend classes full-time and live on campus
with their children.
Ticket prices are $5 for students; $10 gen-
eral admission and $15 for reserved seating.

Tanglefoot has been called vibrant, hilari-
ous, poignant, crowd-pleasing, larger than
life, exuberant, dashing and passionate. In
other words, they're a bit hard to describe,
but wonderful! For the past two years Col-
lege Misericordia has hosted the band in a
crowd pleasing, foot stomping concert bene-
fiting the College's Women with Children
Program.
This year, theyre doing it again. On Fri-
day, March 22, at 8 p.m., Tanglefoot will re-
turn to + Walsh Auditorium for another
EIEN
evening of their unique brand of high-octane
acoustic music. Their songs tell stories of
strong women and men or re-tell legends in
their own entertaining, often humorous
style, rooted in Celtic, French-Canadian and
Ottawa Valley traditions. It's an evening of
fun the entire family can enjoy.
Tanglefoot is making its third visit to the
Misericordia campus. In their previous two
visits they were inspired to write a unique
song, “Miners and Mercy,” which appears on
their latest CD. The song profiles the early
