Domzalski leads Eye Care
to 46-45 win over realtors
Eric Domzalski scored a
game-high 24 points to lead Eye
Care Specialists to a 46-45 vic-
tory over Gilroy Realtors in a
game decided in the final min-
utes. Jeff Decker
added 14 points
for Eye Care
Specialists (8-4),
while Guy Carpenter, J.J. Durr,
Alex Kish and Mike O'Day fin-
ished with two points apiece.
Mike Race scored a team-high
19 points to lead Gilroy Real-
tors. Adam King added 11
points, while Mike Wyberski
chipped in eight.
PNC Bank 54,
Morgan, Stanley 25
Brad Fagula and Mike
Clemente combined for 44 of
their team’s 54 points as PNC
Bank posted a key win against
Morgan Stanley, Dean Witter.
The win moved PNC Bank (9-3)
to within one game of first place
with two games remaining in the
regular season. Fagula led all
scorers with 24 points, while
Clemente added 20. Alex Balti-
more chipped in six points for
the winners. Ben Thomas led
Dean Witter (10-2) with 11
points. Adam Singer added
eight, while Michael McAndrew
chipped in three.
House of Nutrition 49,
Sneaker King 29 ’
Chris Parrish scored a game-
high 18 points to lead the win-
ners, who raised their record to
6-6. Nick Samanas added 13
points, while Greg Jerzak and
Steve Zubko finished with eight
and six points, respectively.
David Harding scored a game-
high 16 points to lead Sneaker
King. Max Millington and David
Luksh added seven and four
points, respectively.

Wilkes-Barre Pallet 49
Robbie Myers scored a game-
high 33 points as the winners
raised their record to 7-5. Joe
Bailey added 10 points, while
Chad Gelso and Robbie Tomko

lead Wilkes-Barre Pallet Co.
Brandon Wills added 14 points,

fourth-quarter rally to post the
win. Lindsey Davenport added

points, while Elena Habersky
added five. Stephanie Ashley

DMS 7th grade team tops Lehman
Brad Fagula scored 19 points as the Dallas seventh grade team
edged Lake-Lehman, 26-18. Ryan Konopki added four points, while
Tom Parrish played well defensively. The team improved its record
to 6-3 with a hard-fought 47-44 win at Wyoming Area. Brad Fagula
led all scorers with 31 points, while Adam Singer and Billy DeAngelo
added 10 and two points, respectively.
Sixth grade travel tops fifth grade
The Dallas Youth Basketball sixth grade boys travel team defeated
the DYB fifth grade travel team in action at the Lake-Lehman
league. The final score was not provided. Mark Covert scored a
game-high 13 points and Mike Kravitsky added 12 to lead the sixth-
graders. Jackie Ellis scored eight points and Kevin Pierce added four
to lead the fifth grade team. Josh Backes chipped in three points,
while Derek Martin and Andrew Besecker added two points each.

Mountaineer bench has come
through for McCue countless
times, and has given him the op-
portunity to show some different
wrinkles in the line-up.
“Dan Mulhern was not on the
team last year, and has been a
big addition coming back, and é& !
Matt Wilson is only a freshman,”
said McCue. “We can have many
different variations on the floor
at a given time. There are not
many teams in the league that
can go with an eight-man rota-
tion.”
Dallas is not out of the cham-
pionship hunt, and only needs
to look to the rafters in the Dal-
las High School gymnasium to
see where they stand. Dallas has
won its only District II title in
1985 and McCue thinks this
year's team stands its best
chance to make it two.
“All I do is point to the ban-
ner,” said McCue. “These kids
are seniors; what else do they
have to work for? Nothing would
be better than to be able to walk
into the gym and say, ‘I put one
of (these banners) up here.’ “

Donkey basketball
at Lake-Lehman
Lake-Lehman High School will
host its annual Donkey Basket-
ball game at 7:30 p.m. on Fri-
day, Jan. 25 in the high school
gymnasium.
A pregame exhibition between
senior boys and girls will take
place at 6:30.
Advance tickets are $3.50 and
can be purchased at the high
school office, or from senior
class members. Tickets will sell
for $4 at the door.
