The Dallas American Legion,
in cooperation with Dallas Bor-
ough Council, agreed to erect a
third memorial dedicated to
Back Mountain War Veterans.
The bronze plaque will read
“Memory of all Veterans of
Back Mountain.”

Office, will be leaving after 37
years 'of working there. A na-
tive of Dallas and a graduate of
Kingston Township School,
Mrs. Moore lives with her hus-
band, Wesley in Lehman.
An early morning fire was de-
tected in the lawrence Kintzer
home, Lower Demunds Road,
by a pet dog, who alerted family
% members by barking. About 25
volunteers of Dr. Henry M.
Laing Fire Company, Dallas,
responded to the 2:30 a.m.
alarm.

First Communion celebrated
at Trinity Presbyterian Church
Seven young people received Holy Communion for the first time at
Trinity Presbyterian Church, Dallas. Supported by their parents,
they participated in a two-part program on the Lord's Supper facili-
tated by Pastor Mark Harper and Elder Catherine Bolinski. Receiv-
ing communion on Easter Sunday were Roxanne Erdman, Adrian
Erdman, Sarah Slody, Christopher Harper, Kevin Konicki, Kimber-
ly Konicki and Cory McCaffrey.
Alzheimer’s seminar in Nanticoke
The 12th annual Alzheimer’s seminar will be held Mon., May 14
at Luzerne County County College Conference Center, Nanticoke.
The day long seminar will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m.
The seminar will provide access to latest information on research
and care provision for family and professional caregivers.
Speakers will include RN's Dorothy Seman and Ann Kolanowski.
Attorney John McGee will address legal and financial issues.
Rev. Joseph Hager will speak on providing spiritual care through
stages of Alzheimer’s disease and Dr. Mark Lobitz will present an
Alzheimer’s overview.
There will be registration fees for individual sessions
