Three Back Mountain students

ceived their degrees and were
inducted into the Marywood.Col-
lege Alumni Association.
Dallas resident Amy Mannear
earned a bechelor of science de-
gree, while Shavertown resident
Christina Graham Ouelette and
Dallas Wendy L. Reed earned
masters of social work degrees.
Storz on dean's list -
at East Stroudsburg
Shavertown resident Gina M.
Storz, a sophomore studying hos-
pitality management, was recently
named to the Dean's List at East
Stroudsburg University for the
Spring semester.
Students eligible for the Dean’ 5.
List are those who have attained a
3.51 quality point average or bet-
ter.

The first Back Mountain Girl Scout track and
field event was held June 9 on the field at the Dallas
Middle School.

wow ticipate and over 85 attended, said event coordina-
: tor Marjorie Adams. She started the event in part
because she recalled enjoying similar activities

100 and 440-yard races and a relay race.
