The two-week course gives students the opportunity to learn how to work with programs such as Gopher, Telnet, and World Wide Web. Along with exploring the In- ternet, this summer's schedule also consists of more than 50 courses, including programs in creative writing, video production and preparing for the SAT. Sem Summer courses will be held from July 3 through July 28, with two week and four-week courses scheduled in the morn- ing, afternoon and evening. The very popular science dis- covery program returns for middle-school students; last year, more than 60 area students in grades 5 through 8 took part in courses such as “Amusement Park Physics,” “Dinosaurs and DNA," and “Life on Earth.” These hands- on courses feature field trips and laboratory work; young scientists get the chance todesign and carry. out their own experiments. Teach- ers from Wyoming Seminary and other area schools will join forces in the summer science programs. _ Tuition varies by course; for more information ui specific pro- grams, or to receive a free bro- chure on the program, contact the summer programs office at Wyoming Seminary 283-6066.
