The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, February 19, 1992 11 SCHOOL Dallas scholars to visit Nantucket The American Literature Field Studies Association of Dallas High School will conclude its academic year of studies with a field trip to historic sites of New England, including historic sites of the island of Nantucket, Mass. Included in the itinerary in Massachusetts will be a whale watch excursion off of Provincetown, oceanographic research at Wood's Hole, tour of Plimouth Plantation and historic sites of the Ply- mouth area, and Battleship Cove in Fall River; in Connecticut, the { ¢}S Nautilus and Mystic Aquarium. Freld studies in New England were instituted in 1986 by Eleanor Buda, American Literature teacher. Accompanying the students on the four-day trip, in addition to Mrs. Buda, will be school nurse Rita Bren and teachers Charles M. Preece and Carrie M. Walters.
