Anthony J. Kashnicki, 74, of
William Street, Sheatown, died
Aug. 6, 1991 at Mercy Hospital,
Wilkes-Barre.
He was the son of the late John
and Anna Zolna Kashnicki.
He was preceded in death by
brothers, Walter, Andrew, Frank,
Bernard, Leo and Zigmund.
Surviving are his wife the for-
mer Antoinette Laskowski; sons,
David, Mocanaqua; Michael, Dal-
daughter, Mrs. Robert
(Christine) Conti, Sheatown;
brother, Charles Kasznicki, R.IL.;

George Parulis, of Penn Avenue,
Exeter, died at Nesbitt Memorial
Hospital, Kingston.
Born in Exeter, he was the son
of the late Anthony and Pauline
Nutulcavage Parulis.
He was preceded in death by
sons, Howard and William; broth-
ers, Anthony, Clement and Peter.
Surviving are his wife, the for-
mer Anna Yesalavich; sons, Mi-
chael, Port Monmouth, NJ; Frank,
Shavertown; brothers, Joseph and
Albert, both of Exeter; sisters, Mrs.
Diana Sennick and Mrs. Julie
Dorbad, both of Exeter; Mrs.
Mildred Pisano, Pittston; Mrs.
Marie Lauck, West Pittston; eight
grandchildren; one great-grand-

WALTER SHONIS SR.
Walter J. Shonis Sr., of Charles
Street, Luzerne, died Aug. 9, 1991,
at the Nesbitt Memorial Hospital,
Kingsotn.
A lifelong resident of Luzerne,
he was a son of the late Joseph and
Agnes Noyalis Shonis.
He was preceded in death by a
son, Walter Jr.; sisters, Magdeline
Stascak and Albina O'Brien.
He and his wife, the former Agnes
Urbanavitch, celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on June 28,
1991].
Surviving in addition to his wife,
are a son, Joseph, Harveys Lake;
daughters, Mrs. William (Sally)
Craze, Luzerne; Mrs. Edward
(Mary) Sebolka, Harveys Lake; eight
grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Frank
(Ann) Czakur, Luzerne; Mrs. Elmer
(Helen) Yatzek, Florida; brother,
Anthony, Luzerne.
Interment was in St. Ann's par-
ish cemetery, Lehman.
DELORES STOUT
Delores A. Stout, 63, of Staub
Road, Trucksville, died Aug. 8,
1991, at Wilkes-Barre General
Hospital.
Born in Larksville, April 29,
1928, she was the daughter of
Sarah Walch Stull, Trucksville and
the late Stanley Stull. She was a
1945 graduate of Meyers High
School and a graduate of the
Empire BEauty School, Wilkes-
Barre.
She was employed by theJames-
way Department Store, Luzerne,
until her retirement in 1988. She
was a member of the Faith Baptist
Church, Dallas, and its Christian
Women's Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by a
brother, John William Stull.
Surviving in addition to her
mother, are her husband, Harold
A.; daughters, Carolyn Wadas,
Harrisburg; Rebecca Miller, Ma-
rysville; son, Harold S., Forty Fort;
one granddaughter and one grand-
son.
Interment was in Evergreen
Cemetery, Shavertown.
Memorial donations may be

PAUL SELINGO
Paul J. Selingo, of Overbrook
Avenue, Dallas, died Aug. 6, 1991,
in the Nesbitt Memorial Hospital,
Kingston, following an illness.
~ Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was
the son of the late Louis and Rose
Kraft Selingo.
He was a graduate of Coughlin
High School and the Fenwick
Academy Ohio Christian College
and attended College Misericor-
dia, Dallas.
He served in the United States
Army during World War II and in
the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Mr. Selingo was employed by
the Pennsylvania Liquor Control
Board, 36 years, in a managerial
position and also as a job devel-
oper for Luzerne County Human
Resources and as a district repre-
sentative for the O'Hanlon Reports
and the Hooper-Holmes Insurance
Investigative Services.
He has resided in the Back
Mountain the past 40 years.
He was a member of the Dallas
Kiwanis Club, where he served as
past president, and was named
Kiwanian Humanitarian of the Year
in 1987. On Dec. 16, 1990, the
Dallas Kiwanis Club dedicated a
flag pole in his honor at the High
Meadows Apartments, Dallas. He
was also a member of the Ameri-
can Legion Post 672, Dallas; the
Dallas Senior Citizens, and a for-
mer president of the Dallas Parent
Teacher Association, and a mem-
ber of St. John the Baptist Russian
Orthodox Church, Hanover sec-
tion, Nanticoke.
He was preceded in death by a
sister, Verne Bauer.
Surviving are his wife, the for-
mer Pauline Kozemchak; daugh-
ters, Mrs. Brian (Paula) Fissel,
Linglestown; Mrs. Arthur (Pamela)
Dixon, Toms River, NJ; brother,
Donald, Barnegat, NJ; two grand-
daughters; one grandson.
Interment was in Fern Knoll
Burial Park, Dallas.
MYRTLE ROGERS
Myrtle Rogers, of Follies Road,
Huntsville, died Aug. 10, 1991, at
home.
Born in Hollybush, South Wales,
May 23, 1905, she was the daugh-
ter of the late John Henry and
Eliza Ashman Fielding. She had
resided in Huntsville for the past
51 years. She was a member of the
First Welsh Baptist Church, Ed-
wardsville.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Daniel, Sept. 21,
1971; daughter, Dorothy Hall, in
1964.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Elaine Lameroux, Umatilla, Fla.;
seven grandchildren; 11 great-
grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Jan-

SHELDON WILLIAMS
Sheldon E. Williams, 73, of
Lehigh Street, Trucksville, died
Aug. 11, 1991, in the Geisinger
Wyoming Valley Medical Center,
Plains Township.
Born in Luzerne, he was a son of
the late Albert and Myrtle Hewitt
Williams. He attended Kingston
Township schools. Prior to retiring
in 1980, he was employed by the
Encon Company as an electrician,
and was also self-employed by the
Williams Electric Service, Kingston
and Trucksville and was also the
caretaker of Cedar Crest Cemetery
for many years.
He was a member of the Grace
Episcopal Church, Kingston and
its Men's Group. He was past
member of the Columbian Fire
Company, Kingston; a life member
of the Trucksville Volunteer Fire
Company, where he served as
assistant fire chief, membership
secetary and was the official Santa
Claus of the company for many
years; the president of the Cedar
Crest Cemetery Association.
He was preceded in death by
brothers, Howard and Earl.
Surviving are his wife, the for-
mer Ruth Jamieson; son, Wayne,
Edwardsville; three grandchildren;
sister, Nita Moser, Carverton;
brother, Russell, New Castle, Del.
Funeral services will be 9:45
a.m. from the William A. Reese
Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord
Ave., Plymouth, with services at
10:30 in the Grace Episcopal
Church, Butler St., Kingston.
Interment will be in Forty Fort
Cemetery, Forty Fort.

bian Fire Company, Union Street,
Kingston, or to the Trucksville
Volunteer Fire Company, Carver-
ton Road, Trucksville.
