The Rev. W. Donald Lyon, rector of the church, officiated at the cere- mony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold C. Snowdon, Jr., Shavertown. Mr. Clarke is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Clarke, Jr., Lake Winola. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Eileen M. Barber, Lake Winola, was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Kelly M. Greene, Conyngham, cousin of the bride and Debbie S. DiGiralomo, Stanford, Conn. Robert D. Barber, Jr., Lake Winola, served as best man. The ushers were Raymond J. Snowdon, Clarks Summit, and John J. VanDorick, Clarks Summit. The Friday before the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Clarke Jr. entertained the wedding party and family members at a dinner held at the Westmoreland Club. Mr. and Mrs. Howard J. Snowdon, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. H. John Snowdon and ‘Mr. Raymond'J. Snowdon, relatives of the bride, entertained the couple at a cocktail buffet in August at the Waverly Country club. She is em- ployed as a consultant pharmacist with Geriatric Pharmacy Systems, Inc., in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Craft show at Dallas Methodist Saturday The Couples Club of the Dallas United Methodist Church will host their First Annual Craft Show and Sale at the church, 4 Parsonage Street, Dallas (above Rea & Derick) on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A snack bar will be provided by Boy Scout Troop 281, under the direction of Charles Wasserott IV. Red Cross invites volunteers to open house Volunteers of the Wyoming Valley Chapter, American Red Cross, a United Way Agency, would like to extend an invitation to all Red Cross volunteers, their families and friends to attend their annual Holiday Open House at the Chapter House, 156 S. Girl Scout Troop 636 holds investitures On Monday, Oct. 30, Girl Scout Troop 636 held their investitures. The girls, under the direction of Mary Jane Kosick, described and demonstrated different types of award badges they can work to achieve. Among the candlelight and costumes the parents laughed and ap- plauded the beautiful performances. On Saturday, Nov. 4, the girls enjoyed a performance of Rumplestil- skin at the Music Box Dinner Theater in Swoyersville. The candy sale was a great success as always, thanks to you. Back Mountain seniors plan Christmas party for Dec. 2 Back Mountain Senior Citizens under Project Head met recently at St. Therese's Auditorium, Pioneer Ave., Shavertown. Plans for the Christmas party on December 2, were discussed. The party will start at 5:30 p.m. to be placed on the tree. Place setting for dinner will be provided.
