i PLANNING TO TRIM a tree for the Christmas Holidays? The Auxiliary of Mercy Hospital of Wilkes-Barre, is planning a very special trimming - not one, but 50 trees. The Auxiliary of Mercy Hospi- tal has contacted professional florists and decorators, who will do the original and creative work of trimming some of the trees to fit a theme. All 50 finished trees will be on display at Genetti’s Best Western Motor Inn, Nov. 26, through Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets for the event are available at the Auxiliary office located next to Mercy Hospital at 42 Church Street, Wilkes- Barre, PA (826-3652). -0- THE AUXILIARY of the John Heinz Institute, Mundy Street, will conduct a handicraft and bake sale in the lobby of the Heinz Institute on Wednesday and Thursday, November 26th and 27th from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. All proceeds from the Auxil- iary’s handicraft and bake sale will be used to redecorate the patients’ dining room to give it a more homelike atmosphere.
