Mrs. Nellie Glidden, of Sweet
Valley, died November 17 in
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in West Nanticoke, she
was a member of Calvary
United Methodist Church, West
Nanticoke.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs.
Dorothy Garnett, Lawrence
Harbor, N.J.; Mrs. Lorraine
Wargo, Sweet Valley; Mrs. Bar-
bara Zahorak, Hillsdale, N.J.;
Mrs. Mary Lou Fedak, Nanti-
coke; Mrs. Ruth Hummel,
Hareys Lake; sons, Gordon,
East Brunswick, N.J.; Richard,
Chase; Bernard, Mountaintop;
George, Carbondale; sisters,
Mrs. Florence Turley, Nanti-
coke; brothers, John Roberts,
Clarion; 39 grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren. Her hus-
band, George, and a son,
Robert, preceded her in death.
Funeral will be held toay at 1
p-m. from the Earl W. Lohman
Funeral Home, 14 W. Green St.,
Nanticoke, with the Rev.
Thomas Snyder officiating.
Interment will be in Edge Hill
Cemetery, West Nanticoke.

Eleanore J. Pucylowski, 73, of
60 Terrace St., Dallas, died
November 16 in Nesbitt Memo-
rial Hospital, Kingston, where
she had been a patient for one
month.
Born in Wanamie, she
attended the Newport Township
schools and had been a resident
of Dallas for the past 20 years.
Surviving are her husband,
Joseph; brother, Joseph Beeu-
nas, Nanticoke; sisters, Mrs.
Edward Yanchik, Chase.
Funeral will be held today at 9
a.m. from the Richard H.
Disque Funeral Home, 672
Memoiral Highway, Dallas,
with a Mass of Christian Burial
at 9:30 in St. Therese’s Church,
Shavertown, with Monsignor
Joseph P. Gilgallon as cele-
brant. Interment will be in
Chapel Lawn Memorial Park,
Dallas.
Thomas Zibuck
Thomas Zibuck, 62, of Town
and Country Manor, Shaver-
town, died November 16 in
Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre,
‘following a brief illness.
Born in Carverton, he was
formerly employed by the
Petrillo Coal and Excavating
Company. For the past 35 years,
he worked as a construction
operating engineer.
He was a former resident of
Mount Zion and resided in Shav-
ertown the past 15 years. He
was a member of the Operating
Enginers, Local 542 and the
Jackson Township Volunteer

David Simon
David J. Simon, 77, of Center-
moreland, died November 12
shortly after admission to the
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Houtzdale, Clearfield
County, Pa., he attended
Wilkes-Barre schools and had
resided in the Fernbrook section
of Dallas for many years, prior
to moving to Centermoreland a
year and a half ago.
Prior to retiring in 1974, he
had been employed as a truck
driver by Abe N. Solomon Co. of
Wilkes-Barre. Previously, he
had been employed as a core
maker by the Gates Foundry of
Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Mary Ann Goble, Center-
moreland; brothers. Abraham,
Dallas; Jacob, Noxen; Casper,
Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Mrs.
Ruth Chrnko and Mrs. Jennie
‘Brassell, both of Wilkes-Barre;
three grandchildren; one great-
grandson. His wife, the former
Elizabeth Kessler, died in 1984.
Regina Husband
Mrs. Regina Husband, 36, of
RD 2, Harveys Lake, (Center-
moreland), died November 12,
in Scranton Mercy Hospital, fol-
lowing a lengthy illness.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was
active as a Republican commit-
teewoman for Northmoreland
Township. She drove a school
bus for the Tunkhannock Area
School District for six years and
was a member of the Vernon
Community Baptist Church.
She and her husband, Jack,
celebrated their 15th wedding
anniversary last June.
Surviving, in addition to her
husband, are children, Jack Jr.
and Jennifer at home; sisters,
Mrs. Martie Conrad, Chase;
Mrs. Charmaine Zablotney,
Edwardsville; brothers, John
Sidonis, Nanticoke; Charles
Broody, Courtdale; Albert
Broody, Lyndwood, Peter
Brody, Pringle.
Charles Bachman
Charles H. Bachman, of RD 2,
Falls, died November 14 in
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital
following a long illness.

Falls; daughters, Mrs. Charlene
Stage and Mrs. Janet MaLev-
enda, both of Somerville, N.J.;
Mrs. Sheree Vesloski, Tunkhan-
nock; sisters, Mrs. Mary Day,
Upper Darby; Mrs. Sally Brod-
beck, Falls; Mrs. Thelma Rob-
inson, Horsham; 14 grandchil-
dren; eight grand-children.
