» H. SCOTT LEFKO H. Scott Lefko, formerly of Dallas, was recently named director of the new Chesapeake Job Corps Center, in Port Deposit, Maryland. In his new position, Lefko is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the 1200 corpsmem- ber center which employs more than 350 staff members at the site of the former Bainbridge Naval Training Center. Following his graduation from Pennsylvania State University, Lefko began working with the Job Corps Program in 1978 as a Center Liaison representative at the Keystone Job Corps Center, Drums. He was later named Manager of Residential Living and Coun- seling at the Woodstock Job Corps Center near Baltimore and, in 1982, became deputy director of that center. In the spring of 1985, Singer Career Cystems chose Lefko as the center director of the Susque- hanna Job Corps Center, a posi- tion in which he remained until being named director of the Chesapeake Center. Lefko is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lefko of Luzerne Avenue, Dallas. He is married to the former Anne Fisher of Nanticoke. AIRMAN GARY M. HOSKINS Airman Gary M. Hoskins, son of Thomas H. Hoskins of 216 Terrace Ave., Trucksville, has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. During the six weeks of train- ing the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs and received special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who com- plete bsic training earn credits through the Community College of the Air Force. Xi EVELYN TOMASOVIC Evelyn Tomasovic of Dallas has been appointed to the newly-created position of coordi- nator of resource development in the Development Office at King’s College. At King’s, Tomasovic will be responsible for developing and maintaining an up-to-date devel- opment research library and file and also for researching potential donor prospects. Before joining King’s, Toma- sovic served as an information consultant for Meyer and Swat- koski Associates, Kingston. She has also served as an manager of library services for the NPW Medical Center; as librarian for Rosenn, Jenkins and Green- wald, a Wilkes-Barre law firm; and, as assistant reference librarian for Fairleigh Dickin- son University, Hackensack, N.J. She earned a Master’s degree from the School of Library Serv- ice at Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from Mont- clair State College. She has completed additional course work in the use of computers in libraries, management commu- nications computer science and legal bibliography. Tomasovic has served as an officer and committee member for the Health Information Net- work of Northeastern Pennsyl- vania and is a member of the Medical Library Association. MARK M. UNGVARSKY Mark M. Ungvarsky has been appointed senior auditor at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsyl- vania. The announcement was made by Plan President and Chief Executive Officer Gilbert D. Tough. In this capacity, Ungvarsky is responsible for coordinating all facets of Medicare and Blue Cross audits for member hospi- tals and nursing homes. He also provides technical supervision to staff auditors. Ungvarsky began his career with Blue Cross in 1980 as a degree in accounting from ROSEMARY CAPUTO Rosemary Shea Caputo, Shav- ertown, has accepted the posi- tion of phonathon chairman for the 1986-87 Wyoming Seminary Annual Fund, according to Ste- phen M. Alinikoff, Kingston, Annual Fund Chairman. The phonathon will be conducted on November 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, and 24 in the Administration Building at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre.
