By CHARLOT M. DENMON Staff Correspondent The Lake-Lehman ‘School Board approved the participation of the district in the Mansfield-Utah Tele- teaching Project at last Tuesday’s meeting. . The project will provide $10,000 - $12,000 worth of equipment for the district, operating supplies, and spe- cialized training for participating teachers and administrators. Edu- cation committee chairman Bing Wolfe said costs to the district will 0 seven days for teachers during the training phase and some expense for travel to the training sites. The directors also approved the acceptance of a donation of a televi- sion satellite system from David Martin of Country Satellite Commu- nications, RD 3, Hunlock Creek. They also approved expenditures for Phase I of this project which involves purchase of a modulator $410, and labor costs $380 for instal- lation. Value of the satellite system is in excess of $2,000. Money for the project will come from the Voca- tional Education budget. The 1986-87 transportation con- tract including service by 34 buses with four contractors at a cost of $610,923 was approved unanimously by the board. The total contract DR. The Ski Club Trip to Steamboat Springs, Colo., Dec. 26-31, was approved by the school board with the cost to be $336.00 for the chaper- one.
