| | 1 People Mrs. Olga Blom. their gowns. Clark Bittner. Country Club, Dallas. residing in Plainsville. THIS IS FIRE PREVENTION WEEK. Students at Trinity Nursery School were visited last week by the Dallas Fire Company Truck. Firemen Slocum and Doughton explained various phases of fire safety to the children. They stressed the importance of having smoke alarms in the home. They also showed the children how a fireman would be dressed when he was rescuing someone from a fire. The children were told that the most important thing to remember is they know their home is burning, is that moms and dads and children get out of the house. If there are pets in the home, the children were told not to go back into the building to by to rescue them, but to let the firemen get the pets out. I felt that this was a very important point since children love their pets so much. 4 The best part of the visit was when each child got to spray the powerful fire hose. Special thanks to these two firemen who took time out from their busy schedules to explain important fire safety facts to nursery school children. -0- GLADYS KING and her nephew, Tony, who live in England are enjoying a visit with her cousin Mrs. Georgette Presper, Pioneer Avenue, Shavertown.
