    Auxiliary meets
The board members of Nesbitt Memorial Hospital's Auxiliary
recently held a meeting at the home of Mrs. Abram Nesbitt II,
Lake Catalpa, Dallas. Mrs. Doris Coutts, past president,
announced that the Nesbitt Auxiliary is one of only 10 hospital
auxiliaries in the state to receive an achievement award from
the Pennsylvania Association of Hospital Auxiliaries. Nesbitt's
Crib-o-gram test, an auxiliary-sponsored program which mea-
sures the hearing ability of infants, earned the award. Mrs.
Bette Roarty, president, conducted the meeting and discussed
plans for upcoming auxiliary events. The annual dinner dance,
sponsored by the Career Women’s Branch of the Auxiliary, is
slated for Saturday, Nov. 1. The auxliary’s Holiday Fair will be
held Wednesday, Nov. 12 and will feature a ‘Country
Christmas’’ theme. All proceeds from auxiliary-sponsored
events are used to further enhance patient care at Nesbitt
Memorial Hospital. Attending the luncheon meeting were, from

Miss Maria Tsitsibelis
weds R.T. Callahan
Miss Maria George Tsitsibelis, daughter of Mrs. George Tsitsibelis of
Athens, Greece, and the late George Tsitsibelis was recently married to
Robert T. Callahan, son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Callahan, Oak Hill,
Lehman Township and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Pechkis,
Edwardsville.
The double ring ceremony took place at the Assembly of God Church,
State College, Pa. The bride was given in marriage by her brother,
Nicholas Tsitsibelis. Her maid of honor was Darlene Peperak, Dallas,
Texas and the best man was Mark Van Ouse, State College. Flowergirl was
Katie Spanos, cousin of the bride, York, Pa.
A dinner reception was held at the Holiday Inn, State College. The
rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held at the Nittany
Lion Inn, State College.
Bridal showers were held honoring the bride at the Irem Temple Country
Club, Dallas by the groom’s mother and at the home of Mrs. James Plakas,
Hanover (Gettysburg) Pa. hosted by her aunts and cousin.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Bishop O’Reilly High School and Penn
State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is presently
employed by H.R.B. Singer, Co., State College.
The bride is a graduate of the American Academy of Athens, Greece,
attended Deree College, Athens, and is a graduate of Penn State University
with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology.
After a wedding trip to Bermuda, the couple will reside in Centre Hall,
Pa.
Among the out of town guests were the bridegroom’s sister, Mrs. Carl
Dymond, Jr., the former Nancy Callahan, of Winter Springs, Florida, her
husband, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dymond, Sr., Trucksville; their son, Neil
and daughter, Tara.

Mrs. Barber is the former Cora

The couple has two sons, Boyd,
