before the Dallas/Lake-Lehman game in
November.
Petie, who is returning for the third
season as a Dallas Post prognosticator,
has managed to conceal his identity from
the public until the Old Shoe Game at the
conclusion of the season. And, the little
guy claims this season will be no differ-
ent and vows not to let anyone know who
he is until the end.
The Dallas Post prognosticators will be
following Dallas, Lake-Lehman, Wyo-
ming Seminary, Bishop O’Reilly, and
West Side Tech High Schools as well as
Penn State University, the University of
Pittsburgh and Notre Dame University
throughout the 1986 football season.
In their first week of predicting games,
the prognosticators all agree that the two
Back Mountain schools will post victories
in their first outings of the season as
Dallas is expected to defeat Hanover and
Lake-Lehman is predicted to beat Bishop
O’Hara.
The Post prognosticators are split on
the Bishop O’Reilly/Bishop Hafey game,
however, as Martin and Hoinski side with
Hafey while the rest of the field goes with
Ron Rybak’s Queensmen. In the only
other high school game being predicted
this week, Columbia Montour County Vo-
Tech is expected to defeat West Side
Tech.
In the lone college game this week,
Jones and GoalPOST Petie like Maryland
over the University of Pittsburgh while
the rest of the crew favors the Pitt
Panthers to post a victory. !
