Home Rule Charter and Optional
Plans Law, Act 62 of 1972 of
the Commonwealth of Pennsyl-
vania, effective January 1st,
1976, that:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
the Zoning Ordinance of Kings-
ton Township.
Section 1: The Official Zoning
Map of the Township of Kings-
ton is hereby amended to
change the below described
premises from an A-1 Zone
District to an‘R-1 Zone District.
Section 2: The premises
hereby changed from an A-1
Zone District to an R-1 Zone
District are described more fully
in Schedule ‘‘A’', which is
attached hereto, made part
hereof, and incorporated herein
by specific reference made ther-
eto.
Section 3: The premises
described in Schedule '‘A'' are
depicted iin a certain map pre-
pared by G.M. Beh. Registered
Professional Land Surveyor,
dated March 26, 1986, which is
attached hereto as Schedule
‘‘B'', made part hereof, and

points at the intersection of
Shaver Avenue and Main Street
in the Township of Kingston.
Luzerne County, in order to
comply with the requirements of
the applicable provisions of the
Pennsylvania Vehicle Code and
the rules and regulations of the
Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation. Further, the
Manager of the Township of
Kingston shall do all things
necessary in order to .comply
with all rules, regulations, and
notices as may be required by
the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation with respect to
the establishment of stop inter-
sections.
SECTION IV. This ordinance
shall take effect upon its enact-
ment.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE
TOWNSHIP. OF KINGSTON
SHIP CODE’' as prepared in
accordance with the HOME
RULE CHARTER and OPTIONAL
PLANS LAW, Act 62 of 1972, of
the Commonwealth of Pennsyl-
vania effective January 1, 1976,
that Chapter 6, (Conduct), Part
5, Section 501 is hereby
ordinance:
SECTION 1: SHORT TITLE
This ordinance shall be known
and may be cited as ''Alcohol
Alcohol - Any alcohol or other
liquid defined. regulated and or
Tovered by the Liquor Code,
ct of 1951 April 12. P.L. 90,
Article | Section 101 et seq. 47
P.S. Section 101 et seg. as
amended.
SECTION 4: ALCOHOL CON-
SUMPTION PROHIBITED
No person shall be permited
to consume alcohol from any
bottle, glass, can. cup or other
container upon any of the
streets, alleys. roads, parks,
public grounds, public places or
public vacant lots in the Town-
ship of Kingston.
SECTION 5: PENALTIES FOR
VIOLATIONS
Any person who shall violate
any of the provisions of this
Ordinance, for each violation,
upon conviction before a District
Justice, shall be sentenced to
pay a fine of not less than
Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars,
and the costs of suit; and upon
failure to pay said fines and
costs. to be imprisoned for a
period of time not to exceed
thirty (30) days.
SECTION 6: SEVERABILITY
The provisions of this Ordi-
nance are severable. If any
sentence, clause or section of
this Ordinance is for any reason
to be unconstitutional, illegal, or
invalid, such unconstitutionality,
illegality or invalidity shall not
this Ordinance. It is hereby
declared to be the intent of the
Board of Supervisors of the
Township of Kingston that this
Ordinance would have been
adopted had such unconstitu-
tional. illegal. or invalid sen-
tence, clause (or section not be
included herein.
SECTION 7: REPEALS
All Ordinances or parts of
Ordinances inconsistent with the
Ordinance are hereby repealed
in so far as they may be
inconsistent herewith.
