THE DALLAS POST/Wednesday, June 18, 1986 11 Tech graduates West Side Tech held its 18th annual commencement on Thursday, June 11, 1986 at 6 p.m. An organ recital by Brenda Nightbert was presented at 5:30 p.m. George W. Pyle, Administrative Director, presented the class to Anthony J. Sobeski, President of WSAVTS School Board who presented diplomas to 153 graduates. Irvin T. DeRemer, Acting Principal recognized honor and award winners and certified the class for the awarding of diplomas. The Reverend Hugh McGroarty, Assistant Pastor, St. Cecilia’s Church, Exeter offered the invocation and benediction. Dean Murphy is a graduate of Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio counseling at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
