i People CINDY KRAUSE was honored at a “baby’s shower” given by her mother and aunt at the home of her mother, Connie Dymond in Beau- mont. The lady in waiting is expect- ing twins in August and we are all anxiously awaiting their arrivals. Cindy is employed at the pharmacy department at Stapinski’s. She used to be the cute little blonde, but now she’s the cute big blonde! About 30 friends and family mem- bers were on hand to enjoy the outdoor shower and help ‘‘equip” the babies. She received everything in two’s, it was so neat. Two high chairs, two car seats, etc. Good luck Cindy, I hope patience comes in two’s for you too! -0- JIM DAVIS, owner of Jedidia’s Restaurant in Dallas, is a pretty nice guy, I'm told. One of his regular customers Millie happened to stop me the other day and she just expressed how much of a joy it is to eat there and talk with him. I think when a businessman comes across so well to his customers that it makes their day, he should know about it. You're a nice guy, Jim Davis. 0- LORRAINE HOZEMPA of Mid- Girls installed land Drive, Dallas is a patient in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. That’s a lot of money for a first time Aerobic-A-Thon. =)- FRANK SAVAGE, son of Frank and Alice Savage, spent the Memo- rial Day weekend visiting with his parents, Frank now resides in Texas so it was gret time of fun and reminiscing for the family. They spent a lot of time golfing, their favorite sport, and just enjoying the time together. -0- GOODY AND LOUISE HILBERT of Beaumont spent three weeks touring and sightseeing during a leisurely drive to Dallas, Texas; Memphis, Tennessee; and Colum- bus, Ohio. The Hilberts enjoyed the guided tour through the Elvis Pres- ley Mansion and Estate. It was really the highlight of the trip — like going through the years of Elvis’ life in memoirs. A very beau- tiful and interesting place to see. They also enjoyed the Gathenburg Shops in Tennessee. In Texas, they visited South Fork where “Dallas” is filmed. They were quite impressed with the beautiful grounds and decor of South Fork, the outside setting was beautiful but as much as beauty as was seen outside, was equally disappointing on the inside. The home we see on TV that looks so glamorous is actu- ally very small rooms and not at all what one expects in reality. The last leg of their trip was visiting Goody’s sister in Columbus, Ohio, then on home. In three weeks of travelling, they had only two days of rain. -0- BOB AND PET CARTIER of Demunds Road, Dallas, did a little traveling last week also. The Car- tiers were off to Vermont to visit a few days bring Bob’s father back home with them where he’ll spend a few weeks enjoying his family here in Dallas. -0- MR. AND MRS.
