. \ J Ww Story Hour held DALE S. BROWN, Pastor of the Community Church of Dallas, was recently ordained into the ministry of Jesus Christ at the local church. Pastor Brown attended University of Cincinnati, and graduated from Cedarville College with a B.A. degree and from Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Ind. with a Master of Divinity degree. Pastor Brown is originally from Dayton, Ohio and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brown of Ohio. He began his ministry at Commu- nity Church of Dallas in December, 1984. He and his wife, Paula, and son, David live at Church Street, Dallas. .0= AIR FORCE AIRMAN 1ST CLASS LANCE E. TERKOWSKI, son of Richard E. and Shirley A. Ter- kowski of RD 2, Harveys Lake, has participated in Team Spirit ’86, a Republic of Korea-United States Combined Forces Command ‘spon- sored exercises held in South Korea. Team Spirit ’86 was the 11th in an annual series of combined-joint field training exercises staged to increase the defensive posture of Republic of Korea and U.S. combat and support forces. The exercise involved forces sta- tioned in South Korea, as well as U.S. forces from other locations within the Pacific Command and the continental United States. Terkowski is a radio communica- tions specialist with the 2146th Infor- mation Systems Group in South Korea. HILLARD Nathan Detroit, played by Timothy Corcoran, gave her a hard time throughout the entire play. The plot of the play was based on gambling and some love lifes being interrupted as a result. Sarah Brown, played by Marilyn Ward and Sky Masterson played by D.J. Hopkins “were always there to change your mood when most unex- epcted. This New York based play of Hob Box dancers and crap game gamblers was excellent. It was a very entertaining evening directed by Donald Hopkins, vocal and choreographer director was Florence Sherwood and the stars were our own senior high students. New York brought to the Back Mountain and enjoyed by a 3-nite full house audience. -0- THURSDAY EVENING was also special for members of the Dallas Area Federated Womans Club. Long standing members and past presi- dents were honored with flowers and a cross-stitch name tag, with their name and year they were president on it. These beautiful pieces of work were done by Maryann Daily and I know mine will be framed forever. Jane Stair and Martha Reese were honored for 30 years of service to the Federation. Little Mary stopped in to see me with her mother and she’s still full of excitement from the trip. Her greatest thrill was the electrical show and Tinker Bell going over Disneyworld.
