DURING CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
WEEK, the children released many
colorful tagged balloons from the
schoolyard. Several replies have
been received most of them from
New dorser. Recently a second
grade teacher in Milltown, N.J.
found the balloon released by Chris-
topher Joseph of 3-204. In reply,
Mrs. Gray’s third graders are writ-
ing letters to that teacher’s class.
They hope to establish a pen-pal
relationship with the Milltown
second graders.

stories using Indian symbols. The
class decided that the following
children wrote the best stories: first
place-Kristin Cashore, Lynn Hill
and Shannon Stair; second place-
Gina Storz; third place-Tara Har-
teis, Corin Schall and Danielle Free-
man.

LAST TUESDAY EVENING, a
celebration of Enrollment was held
for the children preparing for First
Communion, and their parents. The
children received a gold cross pin
as a symbol of their membership in
the class that will receive First
Holy Communion on May 3.

annual Easter Candy Sale. This major fundraiser sponsored

enrichment programs, holiday parties and special programs

SATURDAY, Dallas High School
will be presenting the musical pres-
entation of “Guys and Dolls.” Cur-
tain time is at 8 p.m. The cast and
crews have been working long hours
for the past month and a half.
“Guys and Dolls’ is under the
direction of Donald Hopkins. Per-
forming the lead roles are Maura
Mundy, Tim Corcoran, Marilyn
Ward, and D.J. Hopkins.
There are students holding impor-
tant roles behind the scenes who are
not seen such as: John Oravitz,
Stage Manager; Kristyn Post, Stu-
dent Director; Dawn Rothrock, Cos-
tume Crew Chief; Dina Pomrinke
and Chrissy Bulford, Prop Crew
Chiefs; and Kiersten Fries, Makeup
Crew ‘Chief. Michele Lamoreux
accompanies the cast on the piano
along with the pit orchestra under
the direction of David Benn.

DALLAS RECENTLY HOSTED
PMEA Region Four Band Festival.
The concert was magnificent as a
result of the musicians dedication
director, David Benn, certainly
feels relieved for a job well done!
Hampshire. He completed his residency in opthalmology at the
Medical University of South Carolina where he was chief
resident.
Dr. Lane was certified by the American Board of Opthalmology
and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
He was honored with the HELM Vision Research Award by the
Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Lane had a private
opthalmology practice in Newport, Rhode Island from 1984 until
the time he joined the Eye Clinic. He is presently residing with
his wife Deborah in Dallas, PA.
Dr. Lane will be taking appointments Monday through
Saturday in addition to Wednesday evenings at the Eye Clinic in
Kingston, 288-7405. Also, he will be taking new patient
appointments daily Monday through Friday at the Eye Clinic’s
two new satellite locations in Bloomsburg, 784-4777 and
Berwick, 752-1000.
Since the addition of Dr. Lane, the Eye Clinic staff now
consists of seven opthalmologists and three optometrists cover-
ing the following subspecialists: Joseph F. Pugliese, M.D. -
Cataract and Lens Implant Surgery; Thomas G. Sharkey, M.D. -
Pediatric and Glaucoma Surgery; Donald J. Savage, M.D. -
Retina - Vitreous Surgery; Anthony J. Kameen, M.D. - Medical
Opthalmology; Larry A. Litscher, M.D. - Cornea and Refractive
Surgery; Harry G. Glen, M.D. - General Opthalmology; Jay L.
Endrusick, O.D., Kurt J. Moody, O.D., and Gail A. Evans,
