I HOPE ALL MY READERS had
a very happy Easter! Every once in
a while due to lack of space, things
have to be cut when the paper is
being put together. I'm afraid it was
my Easter greeting last week. I
sincerely hope everyone had a won-

graduate of Juniata College, Hun-
tingdon, PA and Katharine Gibbs
School, Boston, Mrs. Tardif is Mar-
keting Manager of Foremost Optical
Corp. New York.
Mr. Tardif, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Alderic Tardif, Sturbridge, Mass. is
a graduate of Central New England
University and is vice president of
Foremost Optical Corp. New York.

CHARLOT DENMON has
returned to the Back Mountain fol-
lowing a wonderful vacation in Flor-
ida for the Easter holiday. While in
Florida, Charlot stopped in to visit
former Beaumont resident Dot
Norbut in Pompany Beach and Mr.
and Mrs. William Denmon in Port
St. Lucie.
She also met with her son Warren
of Fairfax, Virginia, who happened
to be in Florida on business, and
enjoyed a visit with him.

BOB AND JEAN MONK, Shaver-
town and Tex Wilson, Dallas, have
returned from a vacation in North
Miami, Florida. While there they
visited former Trucksville residents
Ida and Bob Berlew who now live in
Lake Okeechobee, Florida.

An August 30 wedding is planned.
Mr. and Mrs. William Clark,
Meadows Apts., Dallas, will cele-
brate their 50th anniversary with a
family reception on Saturday, April
12.
The Clarks were married on April
18, 1936 in the Dorranceton Method-
ist Parsonage by the Rev. James
Benninger.
The attendants were Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Wagner.
Mrs. Clark is the former Sarah
Wagner of Berwick. She was
employed at Humphrey’s Apparel,
Shavertown before retiring.
Mr. Clark was employed by
Harris Hardware in Kingston for 40
years before his retirement.
The Clarks have two daughters,
Mrs. Wilma Smith, Mars, Pa. and
Mrs. Judith Bornais, Elverson, Pa.
They also have four grandchildren.
